Armchair (1941)Armchair size: length 65cm x 93, 3cm x height 97cm; seat height 42cm, arm height 60cm.
Stuffed armchair with "rocking" zebrano-wood base and arms structure. . Seat structure in solid poplar wood, differentiated-density internal stuffing with steel biconical springs between two hand-tied crossed straps (the upper one being stiff and the lower one elastic). Non-removable brown coloured eel-skin with a plug pattern. The vegetable tanning of the eel-skins grants an exclusive vegetable-essence treatment of all skins without using detrimental chemical products. The hand-patinated skins, during their manufacturing and daily performances, develop light/dark and bright/opaque effects, making this material more and more unique with time. All wooden parts are coated with a "carnauba and beeswax" hand-brushed finishing.
