Case (1935)
Bruno Neri: the client. He was a frst-division soccer player and a "Giustizia e Libertà" patriot, fallen into an ambush on the Romagna Apennine mountains near the Gamogna monastery.
Living/studio case size: 165cm x depth 40cm x height 125cm.
Living/studio case, with ruled makassar ebony external structure, black opaline chrystal top, makassar ebony side raised-backs; the central bearing of the two side raised-backs and the two feet are in bronze-fusion. Two doors and the back are in parchment veneering. The doors will show an upper solid makassar ebony channel, to be used as a handle. Streaked maple-wood interior; streaked maple-wood shelves and sides with makassar ebony edges. Streaked maple-wood backboard with a "rectangle" pattern. All wooden and parchment-worked parts are coated with a "shellac" unwaxed and hand-brushed finishing.
